Truly living in Switzerland as I did for over half a year, was very special...i truly immersed in its special spirit, natural environment, mountain spas like in Bad Ragaz, and become very affectionate with Lausanne, Geneva, and had interesting adventures by drive, or yacht on Lac Leman to many pretty towns :)...it is a special place that i feel preserves a kind of harmony that is rarely found elsewhere, and the nature & environment is both peaceful & exciting :)
One really cheerful summer in Tuscany...I have been thinking of doing longer cooking courses there , perhaps .,,they have it where you can stay in a very original period villa, and you can study both Northern & Southern Italian Cuisine...& also French cuisine, especially Provençal interests me in learning more :)

In this episode, we explore the root of Islam in China in the ancient capital of Xian, before moving into the mountains to discover the incredible Maijishan cave grottoes. We then move on to Lanzhou to try a steaming bowl of the famous hand pulled noodles, before heading to the western end of the Great Wall of China at Jiayuguan.
