To me without truly knowing it..I always found wabi sabi art more beautiful..even as a child I was writing poetry and making visual metaphors..like cement in milk tea..etc..I love art that can be feminine , but really lovely affected by veneer of wabi sabi. Like a preserved classical relief facade in Greece, or a Greek Revival period property in Maine..or a romantic chateau in fragrant country natural life in France…or preserved oriental onsen in idyllic ancient villages in Japan....whatever is truly true, authentic, heartwarming, eternally lovely, ages, ferments…like a lovely wine..soothing & inspiring the palate, or a an earthy Japanese tea, enlivening & awakening all senses, beauty, life within,...
