Jeffrey Brenzel: The Essential Value of a Classic Education

How important do you think a classical education is, and also being around parents with more elevated private school kind of intellect and influence ? :)  It is an interesting question for our times...yes times are becoming incredibly business and technological oriented, but does this mean classical studies in art, music, literature and philosophy do not matter at all? I truly believe opposite..,That without this influence and learning, a human will only be half whole....

It's interesting how he supports my always instinctive position of associating myself with learning that only heightens, evolves, and nourishes my mind, senses, emotions, abilities..

Our environments in learning and being truly matter so much..does not mean we cannot have some cartoons or playing Mean Girls movie occasionally, but the true core of who we are must have depth, emotion, true creativity and sensitivity :)  & that only comes to exposure to the right elements and objects culturally, educationally, in travels., activities like volunteering, cooking courses, choosing wonderful literature with depth, emotion, philosophy over what is just floating on the surface...:) quality music like acoustic, indie, that is also honest, evocative of real emotions, intellectual and creative stirring...:)
